Boogaard has gotten his ass kicked more than a few times. Godard whipped his ass and pummeled him to the ice, George Laraque TKO’d him and beat him in 2 rematches. Donald Brashear beat his ass, as did David Koci and George Parros. All of these videos are available on youtube Scooter! Enjoy watching him take beatings!

@Slipknot5301 When did Boogaard beat Brashear? LMAO He would probably win now that Donald is a dinosaur, but he never has beaten him. The last time they fought, Brash fell down before anyone even threw a punch!
His win against Koci last year was AFTER I posted that comment, and doesn’t change the fact that Koci won their first fight. In the Parros fight, Boogaard didn’t destroy anyone! It was a close fight with Derek getting a narrow win.

I will never like Boogaard. He’s a talentless redneck who only wins fights because of his sheer size. He has shit balance, no puck handling or shooting skills, can’t play offense, can’t play defense has no balance and can’t skate worth shit. He has no place in the NHL. Simon could do all of the above plus fight. Orr, Belak, Laraque, Godard, they can all play good hockey and are among the best fighters in the NHL. Boogaards a dipshit period.

@8BALT Please don’t say that Colton Orr is a decent player. He can fight, no doubt, but the Bruins cut him because he can barely skate at an NHL level. Godard is the same. Eric has 6 goals in 318 games, Orr has 9 goals in 331 games. Now, Boogaard is a useless player as well, but none of them were like Simon or Probert. Both Simon and Probert scored 29 goals in a single season. The only player that you named that has more than 10 career goals is Laraque!

Let me re-phrase then. Colton Orr and Eric Godard won’t hurt your team any, and I watch Orr game in and game out in Toronto. He isn’t the best skater but he can hold his own at this level. Well said by the way.

@8BALT I agree with you, and I’m a Wild fan. I hated having him take up a roster spot on our team. It was great to see him knock someone over every once in awhile, but totally not worth the roster spot and money we paid him.
