Lauki Paneer (Bottle Gourd With Cottage Cheese)
Recipe to prepare “Lauki Paneer”: Ingredients: 1. cooking oil – 1 table spoon 2. cumin seed – 1 tea spoon 3. onion (finely chopped) – 1 medium bulblet 4. garlic (grated) – 3-4 cloves 5. ginger (grated) – 1/2 inch 6. turmeric powder – 1/2 tea spoon 7. coriander powder – 1 tea spoon 8. red chilly powder – 1 tea spoon 9. tomatoes (chopped) – 1 medium size 10. salt – 1 tea spoon 11. bottle gourd (lauki) – 500 gms. 12. cottage cheese (paneer) – 150 gms. 13. kasoori methi (dry-fenugreek) – 1 tea spoon Procedure: 1. heat 1 table spoon cooking oil in a cooker 2. add and fry the following ingredients- a. 1 tea spoon cumin seeds b. finely chopped onion (1 medium bulblet) c. grated garlic (3-4 cloves) d. grated ginger (1/2 inch) e. 1/2 tea spoon turmeric powder f. 1 tea spoon coriander powder g. 1 tea spoon red chilly powder h. chopped tomatoes (1 medium size) i. 1 tea spoon salt 3. stir all the ingredients 4. add 500 gms. bottle gourd (lauki or Dudhi) 5. cover the cooker, and wait until 1 whistle 6. uncover and add 150 gms. cottage cheese (paneer) 7. add 1 tea spoon crushed kasoori methi (dry fenugreek) 8. cover the cooker, and let it cook for a minute on medium flame 9. uncover and serve the dish Hey guys!!!
