They are popular around Lunar New Year and is a wonderful treat to share with family and friends. The best part about making your own fortune cookies is that you can write your own fortunes inside, as well as make them lower in sugar and fat! My two advices are #1. Bake them for about 8-10 minutes. If the cookie is too soft, it will crack easily. #2. I recommend using oven gloves.
